We are a family owned and operated meadery that specializes in the usage of all natural local ingredients in honey wine. We use blackberry and wildflower honey extracted from a local apiary on Saltspring Island and in the Fraser Valley. We then add a bounty of herbs, berries, and fruits grown on Salt Spring Island. No sulphites or other preservatives have been added to the mead, so the customer feels as good as the honey wine tastes! We source our honey from Saltspring Island and Chilliwack. Using blackberry and clover honey ensures a chemical free product since neither of those plants are sprayed with pesticides or product boosters. Having more hives than we need ensures minimized stress on the bees by allowing us to take less from each hive. The whole process takes two years from start to finish and the recipe is our own creation inspired by old world European meads that are written about in ancient lore.

My products are functional wooden ambient lamps with LED strips. Made with highquality locally sourced sustainable wood, it is either recyled/refurbished wood or I collect and dry it myself. I sculpt the design with powertools and manually in my workshop. The LED strips are carefully positioned within the lamp to provide just the right amount of soft, warm light, including a dimmer to adjust the lighting. My lamps are also energy efficient, using LED technology to consume less power while providing ample lighting. I finish my pieces using natural finishes, such as oils and waxes, which not only enhance the beauty of the wood but also protect it from wear and tear. My production process and materials reflect my commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation in the field of wood art.

Kiley Granberg creates one-of-a-kind, handmade art jewellery out of her mobile studio based in Comox. Influenced by the natural world and an early love of printmaking, Kiley's work captures the clean, crisp lines between positive and negative space.
